PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vel Ocity (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Schilt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Vel Ocity has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vel Ocity seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ocity wants to clinch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ocity crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Schilt - the referee stops the clock and Ocity gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Schilt. Ocity manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Schilt counters with a thumping low kick.
Ocity takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Schilt lands with a slapping head kick.
Ocity steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Schilt. That one must have hurt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Schilt, right into the meat.
Ocity fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ocity tries to close the distance and clinch but Schilt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ocity throws out a loose jab but Schilt uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ocity will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That kick from Schilt tenderised Ocity's leg. Ocity is trying to keep his angry face on.

Schilt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ocity. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
