The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dwan has a takedown stuffed.
Mackey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mackey connects with a nice looking jab.

Dwan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mackey is looking for a sweep. Dwan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mackey looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dwan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mackey knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Mackey moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Mackey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Dwan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Dwan wants to take a breather but Mackey is having none of it.

Dwan is keen to just control but Mackey is a slippery customer.
