Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Icaro Cesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Hinkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Hinkley will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Icaro Cesar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Hinkley!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cesar keeps Hinkley at a distance using the push kick.
Cesar really is a fat lump.
Cesar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Hinkley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Hinkley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Cesar tries to clinch up

and Hinkley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cesar's guard now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cesar has a closed guard, preventing Hinkley from standing up.
Hinkley forces his way into half guard.

Cesar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hinkley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cesar circles away quickly and effectively.

and Hinkley counters with a nice body shot.

Hinkley darts in and clinches Cesar up against the cage.

Cesar throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Hinkley counters with a shoot takedown. Cesar fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hinkley gets to his feet. Cesar looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Hinkley keeps control of Cesar as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Cesar can't get the takedown.
Cesar is breathing heavily.
Cesar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hinkley pulls his leg out and moves away.

Hinkley shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cesar eats them both and turns towards Hinkley to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Hinkley closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cesar quickly recovers to half guard.
Hinkley perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Hinkley decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hinkley lands with a nice body punch.

Hinkley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hinkley throws a series of punches but Cesar avoids them all with ease.

Hinkley has Cesar up against the cage in a clinch.

Hinkley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hinkley moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hinkley manages to break the clinch.
Cesar takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hinkley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cesar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Hinkley has Cesar up against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adam Hinkley dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Cesar misses with a takedown

and Hinkley counters with a shoot takedown. Cesar fights it but they end up in guard.
Hinkley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Cesar doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hinkley counters with a one-two to the body.

Well Hinkley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
