The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill cracks a nice hook into Tentotlon's ribs.
Tentotlon misses with a head kick.
Tentotlon throws a front kick aimed at Hill's knee but Hill avoids it well.
A combination from Tentotlon does no damage.
Tentotlon looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Tentotlon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hill moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tentotlon throws a sloppy head kick and Hill moves out of range easily.
Tentotlon scores with a head kick.
Hill misses the shot to the body.
Hill ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jake Tentotlon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tentotlon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Tentotlon gets caught napping as Hill dives in and scores a takedown. Tentotlon manages to retain guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hill advances position into side control!
Hill just content to control the position.

Hill tries to move to mount but Tentotlon blocks the move with his legs.

Hill thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hill advances nicely into full mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hill fails to take his opponent's back.
Hill misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hill quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Hill but it's paid off an Tentotlon is forced to tap! Nice work by Hill.
