Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Turk Ransel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannibal Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ransel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bro Hymm- Pennywise. Soze has chosen Outside - To Forgive but not Forget as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Turk Ransel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hannibal Soze's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soze throws a right and a left that both miss.

Ransel cracks Soze with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ransel has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Soze to stand back up!

It looks like Hannibal Soze has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Soze decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Soze is pressing down on Ransel's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ransel is holding on for now.
Ransel gets full guard.
Soze wants to control from the top but Ransel keeps moving.

Ransel parries the strikes from Soze easily there. Soze is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ransel to escape.
Ransel is trying to control Soze's posture but Soze avoids it.
Soze throwing strikes but Ransel manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Soze is not content to let Ransel control the position.

Soze manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ransel's best efforts.
Ransel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Soze on the ground.
Soze tries to roll over but Ransel keeps him under control.
Ransel perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

A telegraphed right hand from Soze misses the target.
Turk Ransel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Soze shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ransel as he jumps to the side.
Soze scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Ransel misses with a looping left.
Soze misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ransel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Soze sees it coming and avoids it easily.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Soze.
Turk Ransel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hannibal Soze.
Ransel swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Ransel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Soze sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Oooooh!!! Ransel has knocked Soze down with a huge combo! Ransel steps away and waves a wobbly Soze back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Soze fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Soze gets the takedown into side control.
The ground and pound from Soze seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Ransel tries to bench press Soze off him but Soze keeps the position.
Soze postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ransel prevents Soze from moving into mount.
Ransel is not content to let Soze control the position.

Soze looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Soze wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ransel, who protects the arm well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Hannibal Soze will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Soze drives through with a takedown into guard.

Soze is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hannibal Soze wasn't active enough on the ground.
Ransel misses with the combination.
Soze shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ransel as he jumps to the side.
Ransel misses with a body shot.
Soze is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ransel sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Soze steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ransel.
Soze avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A punch combination from Ransel misses.
Ransel throws a right hand that Soze ducks under and follows up with a left that Soze also avoids with ease.
Ransel misses with a straight left.
Soze shoots in for a double leg but Ransel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Turk Ransel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hannibal Soze.
Soze throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ransel's waist but Ransel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Soze off to one side.
Soze takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ransel looks to score with a jab to the body but Soze is just out of range.
Ransel connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Soze is rocked!

That has opened up Hannibal Soze's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Soze bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Soze is still on wobbly legs! Can Ransel finish him?
Ransel looks to throw the jab but Soze is out of range.
Ransel catches Soze with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Soze forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
