Terrier comes to the cage accompanied by Down with the Sickness. Saballe has chosen In My City as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Salvador Saballe!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrier with a poor takedown
and Saballe counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Terrier shoots in looking for a takedown but Saballe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Terrier's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Saballe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Saballe tries to land a front kick but Terrier steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Terrier shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saballe but Saballe pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scottie Terrier. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Terrier tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Saballe counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Saballe.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Saballe.
Terrier is breathing heavily.
Saballe throws a head kick that misses.
Saballe misses with a wild combination.
Terrier is trying hard to land a takedown here. Saballe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Terrier is looking to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Terrier ducks right into an uppercut from Saballe.
Saballe slips a jab from Terrier.
Terrier swats away the attempt to clinch by Saballe.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Terrier. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Saballe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Saballe wants it to stay on the feet.

and Saballe counters with a nice uppercut.
Terrier walks straight into a right hand from Saballe - that's dropped him! Saballe jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Terrier from any more punishment! Terrier complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
