Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tam Zeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zai Mongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zai Mongo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zeus shoots in looking for a takedown. Mongo tries to sprawl out of it but Zeus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mongo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Zeus shoots and misses
and Zeus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mongo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Zeus had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Zeus shoots in for a takedown but Mongo shows good takedown defense.

Zeus drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mongo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Zeus has Mongo in his guard.

Zeus looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mongo has picked Zeus up and slammed him! Zeus can't keep hold of the triangle and Mongo manages to pass to side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mongo is not going to allow Zeus to sit and survive in this position.

Mongo slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Zeus looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Zeus takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Zeus uses his free foot to push down on Mongo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mongo.
