The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hatfield stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

It looks like Hannibal Hatfield has been cut.
Jones lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Hatfield throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Hatfield throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Jones scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hatfield throws a half hearted mid kick.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hatfield seems to have recovered his senses.
Hatfield walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Hatfield will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hatfield tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Terry Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hatfield takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That has opened up Hannibal Hatfield's cut even more.
Jones lands a nice shot to the body.
Jones tries to clinch but Hatfield moves out of range.
Jones throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Hatfield stumbling backwards into the cage! Hatfield bounces back off the cage towards Jones, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Jones lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Jones celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
