Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Doug Styleist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Squidward Tentacles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styleist comes to the cage accompanied by Backdoor Man. Tentacles has chosen Sweet Victory as his entrance music. Squidward Tentacles looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Styleist feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Styleist is in close to Tentacles's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Tentacles is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Styleist's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tentacles can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tentacles avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Styleist is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tentacles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tentacles looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Styleist content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Tentacles wants to sweep here but Styleist controlling him for the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tentacles had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Styleist defends it easily.
Styleist with a flurry of punches that miss.

Styleist passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Styleist tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Styleist has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Styleist cracks Tentacles with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Tentacles is looking to reverse the position.
Tentacles is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Tentacles looks gassed!

Styleist is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tentacles is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Tentacles is looking to reverse the position.
Tentacles takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Styleist works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Styleist cracks Tentacles with a big right hand but Tentacles just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tentacles is trying to get back to half guard.
Styleist has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Styleist lands some shots froms side control.

Tentacles is rocked!
Styleist in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Tentacles looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Styleist turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
