Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thunder Lips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Sakazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thunder Lips!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryo Sakazaki!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Sakazaki.
A slapping body kick lands there for Sakazaki.
Lips misses with a wild body shot.

and Sakazaki counters with a nice kick to the body.
Sakazaki lands with a kick to the temple. Lips shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Lips is looking to clinch.

Lips closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Lips seems to be working for a kimura but Sakazaki defends the submission attempt.
Lips looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Sakazaki trying to control but Lips postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lips is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sakazaki defends it well.
Lips is controlling the pace.
Lips thows a huge punch but Sakazaki dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sakazaki won't allow Lips to pass to mount.
Lips stops Sakazaki from getting back to his feet.
Sakazaki keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lips in particular looking to stall.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sakazaki jabs Lips to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lips misses the body punch
and Sakazaki counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sakazaki throws a head kick but Lips moves out of range.
Sakazaki moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sakazaki connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lips gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lips fails in his attempt to clinch.

Sakazaki throws a nice head kick!
Lips walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sakazaki.
Sakazaki throws a head kick that misses.

Lips gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lips gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Lips showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Sakazaki wants to sweep here but Lips controlling him for the moment.
Lips looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Lips throws a big right hand that misses.

Lips is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lips will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Thunder Lips has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Lips drives through with a powerful takedown. That's hurt Sakazaki!
Lips arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Sakazaki's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
