Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fred Delacruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takashi Matsui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takashi Matsui!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matsui drives through with a takedown into Delacruz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Delacruz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Matsui drops back looking for a leg! Delacruz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Delacruz manages to kick Matsui off! Matsui jumps back into Delacruz's guard.

Delacruz looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Matsui has picked Delacruz up and slammed him! Delacruz can't keep hold of the triangle and Matsui manages to pass to side control!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Matsui thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Matsui tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Matsui has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Matsui is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Delacruz has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Matsui is working to tighten is grip on Delacruz's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Delacruz has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Matsui is really squeezing tight and eventually Delacruz passes out! Matsui breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
