Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby TupperIII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby TupperIII has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby TupperIII!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TupperIII bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
TupperIII fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
TupperIII misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
TupperIII looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Armstrong swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Eddie Armstrong hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Armstrong throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent TupperIII stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Armstrong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
TupperIII uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Armstrong.

Eddie Armstrong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Armstrong closes the distance and clinches.
Armstrong lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Armstrong is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. TupperIII can't fight it off and eventually Armstrong manages to take the fight to the floor. TupperIII looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Armstrong wants to control from the top but TupperIII keeps moving.
TupperIII manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Armstrong manages to get himself to full guard.

TupperIII is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

TupperIII drops back looking for a leg! Armstrong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Armstrong manages to kick TupperIII off! TupperIII jumps back into Armstrong's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Armstrong has TupperIII pulled in close to control his posture.

TupperIII drops back looking for a leg! Armstrong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Armstrong manages to kick TupperIII off! TupperIII jumps back into Armstrong's guard.
TupperIII tries to free his leg and advance position but Armstrong is retaining full guard.
Armstrong looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

TupperIII drops back looking for a leg! Armstrong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Armstrong manages to kick TupperIII off! TupperIII jumps back into Armstrong's guard.
Armstrong wants to stand but TupperIII is controlling the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Armstrong pulls TupperIII in close to prevent any damage.
Armstrong manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eddie Armstrong dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


TupperIII closes the distance and clinches up with Armstrong, looking for a takedown. TupperIII pushes Armstrong against the cage but Armstrong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
TupperIII keeps the fight on the outside.
Armstrong throws the left hand but TupperIII avoids the punch easily.
TupperIII keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Armstrong.
TupperIII uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Armstrong.
Armstrong lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Armstrong throws a hook but TupperIII blocks it.
Armstrong misses with a straight right.
TupperIII keeps the fight on the outside.
Bobby TupperIII is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
TupperIII ducks under a wild hook from Armstrong.

TupperIII shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Armstrong sprawls well. Armstrong wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. TupperIII gets slowly back to his feet.

TupperIII changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Armstrong looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

TupperIII is trying to get an arm triangle but Armstrong is defending well.

TupperIII is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Armstrong has escaped the position, nice work there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Armstrong can do anything to dispel that myth.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Armstrong can't do much from the bottom here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

TupperIII is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Armstrong knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

TupperIII has hold of Armstrong's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Armstrong seems comfortable defending it but TupperIII has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Armstrong is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Armstrong is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but TupperIII couldn't care less - he's delighted!
