Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jolly Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Howell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giant's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Final Hour. Josh Howell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giant blocks a head kick by Howell.
Giant connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Josh Howell has been cut.
Howell takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Josh Howell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howell tries to clinch but Giant is having none of it.

Giant fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Howell manages to avoid it.

Giant closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Howell shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Giant eats them both and turns towards Howell to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Howell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Giant, pushing him back against the cage.

Howell tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Howell jumps guard but Giant stands there with Howell around his waist. Howell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Howell has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Giant avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jolly Giant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Howell.

Giant takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

The cut above Josh Howell's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Giant feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Howell sprawling to the canvas! Howell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Giant finish him?!

Howell is rocked!
Giant goes for a small jab and connects. Now Giant goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Howell stumbles back but Giant runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Howell to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Howell will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
