Slim comes to the cage accompanied by Jammin- Bob Marley. Mercury has chosen Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody as his entrance music. Barbados Slim has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercury throws a nice outside leg kick.
Mercury lands with a shot to the body.
Slim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mercury sprawls well. Mercury wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slim gets slowly back to his feet.
Mercury throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Mercury throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mercury connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mercury leaves Slim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Slim closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mercury circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barbados Slim. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slim tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Slim is breathing heavily.

Mercury lands a big head kick that sends Slim tumbling to the mat! Mercury takes a step backwards and waves Slim back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Slim is rocked!

It looks like Barbados Slim has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Look low, kick high! Mercury uses the oldest trick in the book to send Slim tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Mercury is absolutely delighted - when Slim wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
