The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levitan thows a body kick. Smith tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Levitan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Levitan lands a jab to the nose.
Levitan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Smith takes one to the side of the head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Levitan scores with a head kick.
Levitan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Levitan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Levitan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Levitan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Levitan lands a nice hook to Smith's body. Smith takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Levitan is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Levitan circles away and we're back to standing.
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Levitan.
Levitan lands with a thumping leg kick.
Levitan stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Levitan. Smith shrugs it off though.
Levitan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Smith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Levitan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Smith.
Dmitriy Levitan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Smith.
Levitan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Levitan is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Levitan lands a nice looking body shot.
Smith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Levitan but Levitan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Levitan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Levitan scores with a one two! Smith had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Levitan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Levitan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Levitan is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. Levitan tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Levitan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Smith takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Levitan lands a jab-cross combination.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Levitan as he avoids it easily.
Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Levitan thumps Smith with a low kick.
Levitan lands with a slapping head kick.
Levitan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Levitan moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Smith has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Levitan.
Levitan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Levitan looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Smith takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Levitan lands with a kick to the temple. Smith shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Smith is rocked!
Levitan tests Smith's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Levitan finish him?

Levitan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Smith seems to have recovered his senses.
Levitan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Levitan cracks Smith with an open hand slap.
Levitan thuds a left hand into Smith's body.
Levitan feints and then cracks Smith's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Smith down.

Levitan lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Levitan takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith wants to stay close but Levitan steps back to make room for something. Smith seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Levitan and Smith drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
