Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samoa Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabrice Prince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prince has chosen Muzion - La vi ti neg as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Samoa Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fabrice Prince!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe throws a low kick but it's checked well by Prince.

Prince drops Joe with a left and a right! Oh, Joe is hurt - Prince dives into side control looking to finish!


Joe is rocked!


It looks like Samoa Joe has been cut.
Joe manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joe throwing shots but Prince is blocking nicely.
Joe is looking to pass Prince's guard but actually Prince recovers to full guard.

Joe stands and steps away. Prince gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Joe ducks straight into an uppercut from Prince and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Joe manages to regain guard straight away.

Joe pushes Prince off and scrambles back to his feet.

Prince catches Joe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!


Samoa Joe's cut is getting worse.
Prince fails to land with a series of punches.

Prince waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Joe. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Joe to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Prince is looking to work some ground and pound but Joe has wrist control.

Prince is pressing down on Joe's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Prince accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Prince drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Prince jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Joe pushes Prince away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Prince gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Prince lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Prince.


Samoa Joe's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Joe has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Joe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Prince won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Prince tries to bum rush Joe with a series of wild strikes but Joe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Prince has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Joe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

I would just about give that final round to Fabrice Prince.
I think Prince has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
