The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Endo throws a right hand that McConville ducks under and follows up with a left that McConville also avoids with ease.
Endo tries to bum rush McConville with a series of wild strikes but McConville uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McConville thows a body shot but no joy.
A right-left combo lands from McConville.
McConville jabs Endo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Endo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. McConville quickly recovers to half guard.
Endo prevents McConville from improving his position.
Endo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Endo wants to control but McConville is keeping him busy.
McConville really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Endo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Endo thows a huge punch but McConville dodges it nicely.
Endo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for McConville!
Endo thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
McConville tries to improve his position but Endo has taken his back! Endo has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will McConville tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Endo pushes McConville away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
