The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Haahtee counters with a one-two to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kong throws a head kick but Haahtee moves out of range.

Kong walks forward, straight into a front kick from Haahtee.

Kong chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Haahtee can pounce on him.

It looks like Donkey Kong has been cut.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Haahtee.

Haahtee sends Kong crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Haahtee is motioning to the referee to let Kong up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Kong is rocked!
An inside leg kick lands from Haahtee.
Oh Kong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Haahtee cracks Kong on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kong falls backwards against the ropes. Haahtee follows up with more strikes that drop Kong to his knees. Haahtee keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kong! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ukko Haahtee!
