Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juha Mieto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kova Vasuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mieto comes to the cage accompanied by Pikku G - Älä ole vihainen . Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasuri misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vasuri swinging wildly here.
Vasuri throws a sloppy head kick and Mieto moves out of range easily.
Mieto looks for a takedown but Vasuri sprawls well.
Vasuri stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vasuri wants it to stay on the feet.

Mieto has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mieto keeps control of Vasuri as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mieto tries to pull guard but Vasuri won't allow it.

Mieto tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vasuri smiles and moves away.
Vasuri lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Mieto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vasuri walks away with a smile on his face. Mieto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mieto dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vasuri. That did some damage!
Vasuri bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Mieto gets a clinch.
Vasuri is looking to break free of the clinch but Mieto has double underhooks.
Mieto tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vasuri just stands there and leans against the cage.

Vasuri breaks the clinch.
Vasuri misses with a two punch combination.
Mieto buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vasuri throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Mieto counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Mieto jumps guard but Vasuri stands there with Mieto around his waist. Mieto gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mieto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Vasuri connects with a looping right hand.
Kova Vasuri is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vasuri thows a body kick. Mieto tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Vasuri motions for Mieto to come forward. Vasuri throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Vasuri counters with a straight right hand.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vasuri.
Mieto is breathing heavily.
Mieto is looking to score with low kicks.
Vasuri slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mieto tries to land a leg kick but Vasuri saw it coming and moves away.
Vasuri bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Vasuri misses with a kick to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Mieto blocks the leg kick.
Vasuri tries to land a front kick but Mieto steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Vasuri keeps Mieto at a distance using the push kick.
Vasuri lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Vasuri buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vasuri lands a jab to Mieto's midsection.
Mieto takes a kick to the side of the head.
Vasuri avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vasuri connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mieto moves away from the strike by Vasuri.

Vasuri drops Mieto with a beautiful combination! Mieto stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Vasuri is looking for the KO!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kova Vasuri dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Vasuri drops Mieto with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Mieto! Vasuri dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
