Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grigoriy Slipchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isak Sellanraa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slipchenko misses with a takedown attempt

and Sellanraa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Slipchenko won't be happy with that.

Sellanraa tries for a kimura but Slipchenko is defending well.

Sellanraa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slipchenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Slipchenko isn't going anywhere.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sellanraa stands up and beckons Slipchenko to his feet.

so Slipchenko counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sellanraa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Slipchenko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slipchenko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sellanraa is trying to control the position but Slipchenko postures up.

Sellanraa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sellanraa is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Slipchenko wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Slipchenko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sellanraa!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

That was a close round but I would say that Grigoriy Slipchenko will probably get the nod.

Slipchenko bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sellanraa's guard.

Slipchenko throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Sellanraa has his hands clasped together but Slipchenko breaks the hold and Sellanraa is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Slipchenko!
