Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Potato Head Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potato Head Bob has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Potato Head Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob takes a swing at Harrison's ribcage but misses.
Bob looks to score with a jab to the body but Harrison is just out of range.
Bob jabs Harrison to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Harrison throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harrison fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bob is out of range.
Bob avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Harrison slips under a jab from Bob.
Bob swats away the attempt to clinch by Harrison.

Harrison shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bob manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bob wants to sweep but no luck.

Harrison decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bob, up you get!
Harrison throws a head kick but Bob moves out of range.

Harrison throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Bob throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Harrison stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bob lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Harrison takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Harrison walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Bob is looking to wear down Harrison with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Bob throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Harrison on the side of the head.
Harrison changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bob tries to avoid it but Harrison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bob to the ground. Bob escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bob, as that shot connected.
Harrison takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Bob thuds his right hand into Harrison's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Harrison lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bob has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bob and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Harrison takes one to the chin there.
Harrison misses with a takedown attempt - Bob sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Harrison walks into a jab.
Bob feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Harrisons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Bob is looking to improve his position but Harrison isn't that keen on the idea.
Harrison takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Harrison jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bob is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bob and Harrison has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Bob regains half guard.
Bob wants to get back to full guard.
Harrison tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Bob keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bob works his way to full guard. Good work.
Potato Head Bob is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bob is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Scott Harrison was stalling too much, according to the referee.

The fight stays on the outside here - Harrison looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bob, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
