Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Wand!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wand fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Torres, pushing him back against the cage.
Torres jumps guard but Wand stands there with Torres around his waist. Torres gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wand pressing his opponent against the cage.
Torres tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Wand is struggling to control the position.
Wand pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Torres shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Torres tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wand manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Torres has his takedown stuffed
and Wand finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafael Torres. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Torres is breathing heavily.
Wand rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Torres moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wand closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wand escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wand moves into range and clinches up with Torres.
Wand breaks from the clinch.
Torres is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Wand moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anderson Wand!
