Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bj Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavel Burov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn comes to the ring accompanied by BJ Penn. Burov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Russian Rocket kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Burov tries to stand up but Penn had a hold of his arm and he's managed to perform a nice reversal, into half guard.

Penn remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
