Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Trill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musashimaru Koyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Musashimaru Koyo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Royce Trill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Musashimaru Koyo!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koyo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Trill.

Koyo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Trill to the mat! Trill manages to get full guard.
Trill wants to get back to his feet but Koyo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Koyo cracks Trill with a solid left hand.
Koyo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Koyo lands a couple of elbows.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Koyo has eaten all the pies!
Koyo wants to pass the guard but Trill is keeping the position.
Koyo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Trill is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Koyo is controlling him well.
Trill on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Trill tries to get out of the position.

Koyo lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Koyo controlling the position well here. Trill rolled but Koyo kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Trill is trying to get back to his feet but Koyo has full control of the position and if anything, Trill has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The referee is taking a good look at Trill as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Koyo!

Trill is trying to get back to his feet but Koyo has full control of the position and if anything, Trill has just worked his way into a worse spot.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trill is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Koyo.

Trill connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Musashimaru Koyo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Koyo feints and as Trill raises his hands in defense, Koyo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Koyo in particular looking to stall.

Trill has hold of Koyo's hands but Koyo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Trill's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Musashimaru Koyo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Trill goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Koyo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Trill on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Koyo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Koyo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Trill.
Koyo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trill as he jumps to the side.
Trill throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Koyo stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Trill follows into mount!


Koyo is rocked!


It looks like Musashimaru Koyo has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trill avoids the attempt from Koyo to control.
Koyo is still in real trouble! Can Trill finish him?
Koyo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Koyo bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Koyo seems to have recovered his senses.
Koyo wants to control from the top but Trill keeps moving.

Koyo chips away with some ground and pound.
Koyo content to stall in guard here.
Trill wants to stand but Koyo is controlling the position.
Koyo stays in close to Trill's body and controls the position.
Koyo cracks Trill with a solid left hand.
Trill can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Koyo controls the pace.
Let's hope that Koyo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Koyo forces his way into half guard.
Still in half guard, Koyo seems content to control.
Trill is looking to escape.
Koyo scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Koyo keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Royce Trill has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Koyo lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Musashimaru Koyo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Koyo winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
