PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yonjiro Yoshioka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Ichigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshioka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eye of The Tiger. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ichigo with a poor takedown
and Yoshioka counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Ichigo closes the distance but Yoshioka moves to the side
and Yoshioka counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Yoshioka moves into the clinch.

Yoshioka gets control of Ichigo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Yoshioka will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

and Yoshioka counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ichigo's guard now.
Yoshioka is looking to work some ground and pound but Ichigo has wrist control.

Ichigo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
