The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeBell closes the distance looking to clinch

so Emperor counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

LeBell wants to get back to his feet but Emperor is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
LeBell can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Emperor controls the pace.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Otto Emperor just wasn't active enough.
LeBell lands a body shot.
Emperor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Emperor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Emperor swings for the body but LeBell moves out of range.
LeBell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Emperor swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Emperor digs a right hand into LeBell's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on LeBell's gas tank.

Emperor tries to score a body lock takedown but LeBell shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Emperor manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

LeBell is trying to break the clinch but Emperor has him pressed against the cage.

LeBell gets caught napping as Emperor dives in and scores a takedown. LeBell manages to retain guard.
Emperor stays in close to LeBell's body and controls the position.

Emperor wants to lay and pray for a moment but LeBell keeps working.
LeBell is breathing heavily.

Emperor looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
LeBell trying to hold on to Emperor's head to control him but Emperor postures up.
Emperor has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Emperor moves to back control.

Emperor is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged LeBell with him. LeBell is trying to defend but Emperor has an arm under the chin now! LeBell grimaces and is forced to tap out!
