Rihmakallo has chosen Blood For Blood-Living In Exile as his entrance music. Gerhard Rihmakallo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Peter Piper's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gerhard Rihmakallo!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Piper moves into the clinch.

Piper pulls Rihmakallo into guard.
Piper thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Piper is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rihmakallo wants to control from the top but Piper keeps moving.
Rihmakallo thows a big elbow that misses.
Piper avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Piper tries to strike from the bottom.
Rihmakallo is working Piper over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Piper is trying to control the position but Rihmakallo postures up.

Piper is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rihmakallo is aware though and is defending well.

Rihmakallo gets to his feet - Piper follows without any prompting.

Rihmakallo has Piper pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Rihmakallo pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Piper tumbling to the mat - Rihmakallo dives into Piper's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rihmakallo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rihmakallo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

You can see the frustration on Piper's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Rihmakallo looks up at the clock and then as Piper takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rihmakallo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rihmakallo cracks Piper with a big right hand but Piper just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Piper is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Rihmakallo is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee warns Piper that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


It looks like Peter Piper has been cut.
Piper takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Rihmakallo's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
