The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junio tries to bum rush Borba with a series of wild strikes but Borba uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Junio really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Junio drives through and clinches with Borba against the cage.
Borba goes for a takedown attempt but Junio pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Junio is trying to trip Borba. He has hold of a leg but Borba is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Junio persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Borba jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Junio is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Junio and Borba has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Junio has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Borba clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
A lull in the action here.
Junio is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Junio gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Junio gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Junio apologises and we restart here on the feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
