The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gracie lands in his opponent's guard.
Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gracie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bernados works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bernados is breathing heavily.

Bernados is working an open guard so Gracie takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Bernados counters with a shoot takedown. Gracie fights it but they end up in guard.
Gracie wants to sweep but no luck.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bernados might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
