The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quetzalcoatl closes the distance but St Christopher moves to the side
and St Christopher counters with a left to the body.
Quetzalcoatl takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Quetzalcoatl misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
St Christopher scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Armando Quetzalcoatl has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
St Christopher tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The fight stays on the outside here - St Christopher looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
St Christopher sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Quetzalcoatl's defenses. It connects perfectly with Quetzalcoatl's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
