Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sackett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Whoomp There it is. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Durden!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sackett. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Sackett closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Durden to the mat! Durden manages to get full guard.

Sackett is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Durden is looking to sweep but instead, Sackett has passed into half guard.

Sackett seems to be looking for submissions.
Durden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sackett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close second round but I would say that Orlando Sackett will probably get the nod.

Durden clobbers Sackett with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Durden pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sackett back to the cage. Durden follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Durden throws out a loose jab but Sackett uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sackett dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Durden. That did some damage!
Sackett shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Durden sprawls well. Durden wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sackett gets slowly back to his feet.

Durden has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Sackett.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but Orlando Sackett did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

Sackett tries to score a power double leg takedown but Durden sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sackett somewhat.

Sackett looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
