The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Mcclain cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice takedown defense from Mcclain. No joy for Souza on that attempt.

Mcclain gets caught flat footed, as Souza shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Souza drops back looking for a leg! Mcclain is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcclain manages to kick Souza off! Souza jumps back into Mcclain's guard.

Mcclain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Souza drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Souza seems to have locked his on tight now - Mcclain screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Souza, as he picks up the win!
