Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Koichi Kamei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Hannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hannon has chosen Back in Black by ACDC as his entrance music. Derek Hannon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Koichi Kamei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Derek Hannon!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamei throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hannon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kamei sprawls well. Kamei wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hannon gets slowly back to his feet.
Hannon wants to clinch
and Hannon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Koichi Kamei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kamei throws the left hand but Hannon avoids the punch easily.
Kamei waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hannon.
Hannon walks into a stiff left hand from Kamei.
Kamei throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hannon on the side of the head.
Kamei connects with a solid leg kick.
Kamei lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hannon circles away quickly and effectively.
Hannon tries to clinch but Kamei moves out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Kamei. No joy for Hannon on that attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big left from Kamei misses.
Nice jab there from Kamei.
Kamei clobbers Hannon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Derek Hannon has been cut.
Kamei lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice sprawl there from Kamei as Hannon shoots in.
Koichi Kamei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Hannon.
Hannon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kamei.

Hannon shoots for a takedown but Kamei saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kamei blocks a head kick by Hannon.
Hannon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hannon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Kamei paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kamei lands a jab.
Kamei lands with a shot to the body.
Hannon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kamei finds it's way round the side to connect with Hannon's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kamei's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kamei duly obliges.
Kamei keeps the fight on the outside.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kamei thuds a left hand into Hannon's body.
Hannon shoots and misses
letting Kamei counter with a right hand.
Kamei is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Hannon looks gassed!
Hannon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kamei but Kamei pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hannon is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kamei is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hannon.
Hannon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hannon is rocked!
Kamei cracks Hannon with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Hannon falls to his knees and Kamei doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Koichi Kamei!
