Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Knotts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jowell Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez has chosen Lil Jon ft Swizz Beats - I DO as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rodriguez wants to work for an arm triangle but Knotts is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Knotts wants to get back to full guard.
Rodriguez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Rodriguez is thwarting Knotts's attempts to control the position.
Knotts is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rodriguez in particular looking to stall.
Rodriguez uses his free foot to push down on Knotts's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Knotts.
Knotts is looking to get to half guard.
Rodriguez is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Knotts is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Knotts flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Rodriguez anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Knotts and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Rodriguez slips an arm under Knotts chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Rodriguez has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Rodriguez is squeezing on Knotts like an anaconda would it's prey. Knotts fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
