Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Hahar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuririn Kame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Hahar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kuririn Kame!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hahar throws a shot to the body.
Kame takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kame checks a leg kick nicely.
Hahar throws a lazy right hand but Kame sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hahar swings for the body but Kame moves out of range.
Hahar scores with a jab.
Hahar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kame avoids the body shot from Hahar.

Hahar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hahar misses with a punch on the inside.
Kame has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hahar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kame is working for takedown but Hahar is calmly controlling the position for now.

Hahar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hahar. Kame does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kame slips a straight right by Hahar.
Hahar scores with a jab to the jaw.
Hahar tries to clinch there but Kame circles away.
Kame moves out of range of the strikes.
Andrew Hahar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kame looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Andrew Hahar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kuririn Kame.
Kame takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hahar dives in and grabs Kame's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kame pushes down on Hahar's head and hops out.
Hahar is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

and Kame decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hahar's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kame wants to stand but Hahar has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kame is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Kame gets to his feet. Hahar looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Hahar lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kame's sensitive parts.
Hahar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hahar swings for the body but Kame moves out of range.
Hahar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kame sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hahar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hahar looks to throw the jab but Kame is out of range.
Kame keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hahar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kame manages to avoid it.

Kame avoids the body shot from Hahar.
Kame shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hahar but Hahar pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hahar drives through with a takedown into Kame's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hahar passes Kame's left leg - he's now in half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kame is trying to stand back up but Hahar is controlling him

Hahar seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kame is looking to escape.
Hahar is trying to control the action in half guard but Kame is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kame wants to get back to his feet.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Kame counters with a single leg into guard. Hahar didn't expect that.
Hahar has a closed guard, preventing Kame from standing up.
Hahar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kame is one step ahead there.
Kame wants to stand but Hahar is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hahar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kame wants to get up but he can't break Hahar's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kame is looking to stand up but Hahar won't let him.
Hahar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hahar gets a takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hahar wants to work for an arm triangle but Kame is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hahar stops Kame from getting back to his feet.
Kuririn Kame has got the better of the ground game so far.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hahar in particular looking to stall.
Kame wants to stand back up but Hahar manages to pass into side control.

Kame is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hahar has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Kame is looking to get back to his feet here but Hahar is keeping cool and he's managed to take Kame's back.
Kame is breathing heavily.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Hahar tries to clinch there but Kame circles away.
Kame takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kame looks for a takedown but Hahar sprawls well.
Hahar misses with a body kick.

Kame wants to stand but Hahar has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Hahar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Hahar with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Kame is in a horrible position here. Hahar smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Hahar wants to control the pace but Kame is squirming around nicely.
Kame is trying to stand but he's just given Hahar his back.
Kame is trying to get back to his feet but Hahar has full control of the position and if anything, Kame has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kame is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Even with his hooks in, Hahar manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Kame is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Hahar off. It looks like it's working - Hahar slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Kame displaying calm under pressure there.

and Kame counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kame.

Hahar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kame is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hahar fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kame squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Hahar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kame is looking to escape.
Andrew Hahar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Hahar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
