Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaira works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sol is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kaira is surviving well by controlling Sol's body position as best he can.
Sol has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sol looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kaira with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sol accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kaira throws his legs up looking for a submission but Sol uses it to pass to side control.

Sol takes a little break here. Kaira wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Let's hope that Sol has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
