Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chemical Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusty Bottoms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ali comes to the cage accompanied by Slayer - Jihad. Chemical Ali has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bottoms chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ali can pounce on him.
Ali clobbers Bottoms with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ali ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ali fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bottoms has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bottoms throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bottoms swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bottoms throws out a powerful jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bottoms takes the fight into the clinch.
A short right from Ali on the inside.
Ali escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ali throws a head kick that half lands.
Bottoms is looking to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ali. Bottoms does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ali shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ali looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bottoms with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ali looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Dusty Bottoms has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ali wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bottoms, who protects the arm well.

Well Ali has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
