The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henkeln misses with a jab, cross combination.
A jab from Henkeln finds it's way through Kovacs's defenses.
Kovacs takes a swing at Henkeln's ribcage but misses.
Kovacs throws a series of punches but Henkeln moves out of range.
Henkeln tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kovacs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Henkeln somewhat.
Kovacs throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Henkeln lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kovacs backs up against the cage.
Kovacs misses with a series of wild punches.
Kovacs throws a right hand that Henkeln ducks under and follows up with a left that Henkeln also avoids with ease.
Kovacs throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kovacs throws a nice looking combination but Henkeln bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kovacs throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Quartz Henkeln has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kovacs throws the left hand but Henkeln avoids the punch easily.

Kovacs closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Henkeln's guard.

Kovacs drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kovacs as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Henkeln screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kovacs! Nice submission victory there!
