Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ray Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine comes to the cage accompanied by Stupid KId. Green has chosen yes as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Ray Machine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Mr Green!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Green to the ground. Machine is now in Green's guard.
Green throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Machine sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Machine trying to control the position from guard on top but Green is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Machine passes Green's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Green is staying active underneath Machine, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Green is trying to control but can't.
Machine wants to lay and pray for a moment but Green keeps working.
Green looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Green makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Green.

Green looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Machine avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Green not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Machine drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Green manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Machine has Green in his guard.
Machine pulls Green in close to his closed guard and prevents Green from doing any damage or advancing position.
Green won't allow Machine to sweep him here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Machine keeping full guard, as Green tries to pass.
Green throws a strike but Machine rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Machine pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Green is keeping the position for now.
Machine thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Green punching from the bottom - just letting Machine know he's still in a fight.
Machine is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Machine won't allow Green to sweep him here.

Machine trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Machine trying to control but Green is working from the bottom.
Machine with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Machine stands and throws Green's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Green tries to bench press Machine off him but Machine keeps the position.

Machine misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Green tries to improve position but can't.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Machine misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Machine tries for a kimura but Green is defending well.
Green manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Machine is working for a submission of some sort.
Green gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Machine dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Machine takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Green tests Machine's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A head kick by Machine misses
and Green counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Green.
Green jumps into guard, dragging Machine to the mat.

Machine trying to control but Green is working from the bottom.

Machine is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Machine with a flurry of punches that miss.
Green is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Machine is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Green is just riding it out for now. Machine eventually gives up the hold.
Machine takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machine tries to pass the half guard into mount. Green knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Machine throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Green tries to roll over but Machine keeps him under control.
Green works his way to full guard. Good work.
Machine working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Green's head.
Green wants to sweep here but Machine controlling him for the moment.
Green is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Machine trying to control the position from guard on top but Green is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mr Green will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Machine with a poor takedown
and Green counters with a straight right hand.
Machine lands a head shot.
Machine misses with a body shot
and Green counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Machine swings widly with a right hand
and Green connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Green avoids the head kick by Machine.
Machine swings away with a body shot that misses
and Green counters with a series of strikes. Machine will be more careful next time no doubt.
Machine misses with a lunging right hand
and Green counters with a shoot takedown. Machine fights it but they end up in guard.
Green throwing strikes from guard but Machine blocks nicely.
Machine lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Green!
Machine looking to control but Green is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Machine jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Green is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Green and Machine has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The strikes coming from Machine are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Green is looking to reverse the position.
Machine is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Green is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Green is trying to buck Machine off.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Machine throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Green works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Machine is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Green sees it coming and defends easily.
Green wants to get back to full guard but Machine has passed into side control.
Machine tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Machine thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Green tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Machine wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Green gets back to half guard.
Machine throwing shots but Green is blocking nicely.
Machine looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Green trying to hold on to Machine's head to control him but Machine postures up.
Machine looking for a submission but Green manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Green is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Green takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Green looking for a sweep. Not yet Green, not yet.
Machine postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Machine trying to control but Green is working from the bottom.
Ray Machine overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Green manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Machine manages to get himself to full guard.
Machine keeping full guard, as Green tries to pass.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mr Green comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Green has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
