Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Papi Chocolate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, AS Kane!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kane throws a nice looking combination but Chocolate bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chocolate tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kane was well out of range. Poor timing from Chocolate.
Kane falls off balance throwing a combination
and Chocolate counters with a nice right hand that sends Kane toppling to the canvas! Kane scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Chocolate finish him?!
Kane is rocked!
It looks like AS Kane has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chocolate comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kane looks gassed!
Chocolate tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kane was well out of range. Poor timing from Chocolate.
Chocolate looks to land a combination but Kane avoids it well.
Chocolate scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kane doesn't seem bothered though.
Kane staying out of range there.
Kane doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Chocolate is looking to wear down Kane with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Chocolate swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Chocolate looks to land a right hand but Kane moved out of range.
Chocolate lands a big right hand that sends Kane crashing to the mat! Chocolate stays standing though and waves Kane back to his feet!
Kane is still on wobbly legs! Can Chocolate finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chocolate fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Kane square on the jaw! Damn, Kane is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Papi Chocolate!
