Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Todd Haskins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zambidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haskins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kid Rock - Bawitdaba. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zambidis looks to land a left hand but Haskins moved out of range nicely.
Zambidis connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Zambidis throws a hook but Haskins blocks it.

Haskins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zambidis is fending him off so far but Haskins persists. Nope, Zambidis circles away and we're back to standing.

Mike Zambidis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zambidis throws a head kick that misses.
Haskins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zambidis misses with a series of wild punches.
Haskins fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Zambidis to the ground. Haskins is now in Zambidis's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Haskins wants to free his trapped foot but Zambidis is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Haskins has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Zambidis finds it's way round the side to connect with Haskins's head.

Haskins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zambidis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Haskins thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zambidis is not content to let Haskins control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Haskins ducks under a wild hook from Zambidis.
Zambidis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Haskins has time to react.
Zambidis tries to clinch but Haskins moves out of range.
Haskins shoots for a double leg takedown but Zambidis sprawls well. He's pushed Haskins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Zambidis feints and as Haskins raises his hands in defense, Zambidis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Haskins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Zambidis wants to pass the guard but Haskins is keeping the position.

Zambidis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Haskins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zambidis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Haskins is tightening it up a little... Zambidis has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Zambidis reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Zambidis taps out! nice BJJ there by Haskins!
