The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick lands a slapping body shot.
Mullin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Quick tries to clinch up but Mullin circles away and keeps his distance.
Quick tries to close the distance and clinch but Mullin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Quick is looking to clinch but Mullin is avoiding it.
Quick moves into the clinch.
Quick stalling the fight.
A nice left hand lands by Quick.
Quick will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mullin up against the cage.
Quick lands a right hand that snaps the head of Mullin backwards.
Mullin goes for a takedown attempt but Quick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Quick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mullin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mullin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mullin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Quick sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mullin somewhat.
Mullin shoots in looking for a takedown but Quick manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mullin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Marcus Quick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamie Mullin.
Quick avoids a kick to the body.
Mullin swats away the attempt to clinch by Quick.
Mullin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quick's waist but Quick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mullin off to one side.
Quick tries to clinch there but Mullin circles away.
Quick doesn't manage to clinch there - Mullin circles away.
Mullin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Quick as he avoids it easily.

Quick has taken the fight to the clinch.
Quick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Quick scores with a one two! Mullin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Quick lands a slapping body shot.
Quick scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mullin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Quick makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mullin looks gassed!
Quick has managed to clinch.
Mullin tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mullin takes a shot to the head.
Mullin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Quick gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Quick lands a left hand.
Quick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Quick scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mullin in his tracks.

Quick lands with an overhand left.
Oooooh!!! Quick has knocked Mullin down with a huge combo! Quick steps away and waves a wobbly Mullin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Mullin is rocked!
It looks like Jamie Mullin has been cut.
Mullin is trying desperately to land a takedown but Quick is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mullin.
Mullin walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Mullin limp body while Quick jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marcus Quick!
