Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armor King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Henderson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The End . King has chosen Armor King as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Armor King!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails with the takedown

and Henderson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Henderson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! King is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Henderson, into his guard.

King got a little sloppy there for a moment and Henderson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, King has managed to get both his arms back between Henderson's legs - danger averted.

King drops back looking for a leg! Henderson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Henderson manages to kick King off! King jumps back into Henderson's guard.
King wants to stand but Henderson is controlling his posture from full guard.
King throws a big elbow that misses.

Henderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but King can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
King must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
King wants to pass the guard but Henderson is keeping the position.

King might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Henderson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henderson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
King not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Armor King wasn't active enough on the ground.

and King counters with a stiff right hand.
Armor King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
King changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Henderson tries to avoid it but King manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Henderson to the ground. Henderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
King throws a push kick but Henderson slaps the foot to one side.

King rushes Henderson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Henderson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

King manages to break the clinch.
King closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Henderson is breathing heavily.
Nice cross by King.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Henderson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has King pinned against the cage. King gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

King is looking to take a break and control but Henderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
A lull in the action here as King stalls from top position.
King connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Henderson some visible discomfort.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

King has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

King shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Henderson's guard.

Well King has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
