Hekmatyar comes into the arena with Open Season blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ahmad Shah Hekmatyar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Ibragimov!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibragimov throws a hook but Hekmatyar blocks it.
Hekmatyar has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ibragimov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hekmatyar lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hekmatyar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Hekmatyar lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ibragimov backwards.
The fighters are playing wrist control here with Ibragimov pressed against the cage. Hekmatyar frees himself up and cracks Hekmatyar with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! Ibragimov crumples to the floor, out cold! Hekmatyar jumps on to the cage and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ahmad Shah Hekmatyar!
Ahmad Shah Hekmatyar spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
