Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zak Zinfandel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hood is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Carlos - The Silmarillia. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zak Zinfandel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raymond Hood!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zinfandel.
Hood is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hood fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hood throws a sloppy head kick

and Zinfandel counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Zinfandel thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hood's head.
Zinfandel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zinfandel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zinfandel not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Zinfandel is trying to control. Hood wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hood wants to get back to his feet.

Zinfandel seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zinfandel looks to land a strike but Hood avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Zinfandel wants to control from the top but Hood keeps moving.
Zinfandel throwing strikes but missing.
Hood working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zinfandel.
Zinfandel thows a big elbow that misses.
Zinfandel pushes down on Hood's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Zinfandel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Zinfandel is keen to just control but Hood is a slippery customer.
Zinfandel slips a nice elbow through Hood's hands, connecting with Hood's forehead.
Zinfandel passes the guard and advances to mount!
Zinfandel misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Zinfandel pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hood avoids a series of strikes thrown by Zinfandel.

You get the feeling that Hood really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Zinfandel with the ground and pound from mount.
Zinfandel lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hood hang on?

Hood is rocked!
A big strike lands for Zinfandel! That's really hurt Hood and he's turned his back - Zinfandel keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Zinfandel jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
