Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cottoneye Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Staph Coganobitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe comes to the cage accompanied by Cottoneye Joe. Staph Coganobitch has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Staph Coganobitch!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coganobitch missing with a left hand there. Joe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Coganobitch uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Joe has time to react.
Coganobitch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Joe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Coganobitch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Coganobitch misses with a looping left.
Joe thumps Coganobitch with a low kick.
Coganobitch tries a head kick but it misses.
Joe doesn't manage to clinch there - Coganobitch circles away.
Coganobitch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Coganobitch rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
so Joe counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Joe slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Coganobitch tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Joe is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Coganobitch can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Coganobitch is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Coganobitch is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Coganobitch is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Joe lands a big shot there that rocks Coganobitch but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Staph Coganobitch has been cut.
Joe loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Coganobitch scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Joe land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Joe stands and salutes the crowd.
