Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Lovell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waranhk Nsembo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nsembo has chosen ChessBoxin' as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Waranhk Nsembo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovell tests Nsembo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lovell keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lovell shoots in looking for a takedown. Nsembo tries to sprawl out of it but Lovell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nsembo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lovell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nsembo avoids it really well and circles away.

Nsembo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Lovell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nsembo is fending him off so far but Lovell persists. Nope, Nsembo circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lovell shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nsembo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lovell is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Nsembo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nsembo moves forwards but Lovell connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Lovell shoots for a takedown but Nsembo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Nsembo thows a leg kick but Lovell checks it
and Lovell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Max Lovell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nsembo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Nsembo misses with a hook to the body
and Lovell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lovell thuds his shin into the meat of Nsembo's side.
Lovell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nsembo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lovell works Nsembo's body with a nice hook.

Jab, jab by Lovell - just one landing.
Lovell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nsembo's waist but Nsembo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lovell off to one side.
Lovell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nsembo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nsembo takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Nsembo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lovell.
Lovell could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Nsembo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lovell tries to clinch but Nsembo moves out of range.

Lovell throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nsembo on the side of the head.
Nsembo misses with a shot to the body
and Lovell counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Nsembo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lovell.

And that's the end of the fight!
Max Lovell showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lovell has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
