Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johan Elia!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Beef!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beef looks to throw the jab but Elia is out of range.
Elia misses with a body shot.
Elia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beef pinned against the cage. Beef gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Beef swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Beef cracks Elia with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Elia shoots in and drives through. Beef sprawls well.
Elia throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Elia dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Beef. That did some damage!

Elia shoots in for a double leg but Beef sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Elia shoots in but Beef avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Elia tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Beef is able to avoid easily.
The fighters circling - Beef throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Beef gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Elia throws a low kick but Beef avoids it.

Elia will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Elia slips under a jab.
Elia throws a lazy right hand but Beef sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Elia closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Elia lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Beef wants to stand up but Elia is controlling him.

Elia drops back, looking for a kneebar! Beef looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Beef looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Beef!
Elia is looking to reverse the position.

Elia manages to get back to half guard.
Elia tries to roll over but Beef keeps him under control.

Beef postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Elia to stand up.
Elia missing with a left hand there. Beef was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Elia closes the distance and clinches up with Beef, looking for a takedown. Elia pushes Beef against the cage but Beef circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Elia looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Beef is fending him off so far but Elia persists. Nope, Beef circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd cheers as Elia lands an impressive looking overhand right. Beef doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Beef thows a body shot but no joy.
Beef lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Elia throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Beef was covering up waiting for the punch and Elia finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beef wants to get back to his feet but Elia is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Beef keeping full guard, as Elia tries to pass.
Elia sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Beef's guard.
Elia stops Beef from getting back to his feet.

Beef kicks Elia off and gets back to his feet.
Beef is breathing heavily.
Beef takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Elia is trying hard to land a takedown here. Beef sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Beef stuffs the takedown attempt from Elia. Elia gets slowly back to his feet.
Elia is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Beef.
Beef needs to keep his hands up - Elia had a free shot at his head there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Beef tries to move into range but Elia moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Beef is holding his hands too far apart here. Elia throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Beef is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
