The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders takes one to the chin there.
Sanders throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tremendous's waist but Tremendous gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanders off to one side.
Sanders avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tremendous lands a nice shot to the body.
Sanders throws a right and a left that Tremendous avoids nicely.
Tremendous thuds a left hand into Sanders's body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Tremendous.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sanders fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tremendous avoids it really well and circles away.
Sanders is breathing heavily.
Donk. Tremendous catches Sanders right on the button with a cross.
RJ Sanders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanders shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tremendous but Tremendous pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for RJ Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tremendous swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sanders.
