The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deteike shoots in looking for a takedown. Humperdink tries to sprawl out of it but Deteike keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Humperdink manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Deteike knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Humperdink on the ground.

Humperdink decides to stand up, so the ref orders Deteike to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Humperdink has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Deteike is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Humperdink yanks on the arm and Deteike is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Humperdink.
